Two Canyon Men Killed In Saturday Car Crash
Two Canyon men have died in a one-vehicle crash Saturday night.The accident happened just before 8pm Saturday evening. The DPS reports a 1999 Chevy Lumina was traveling East on McCormick road at a high rate of speed. The vehicle eventually crossed some railroad tracks and the driver lost control and entered a northside ditch and crashed into a drainage culvert.
26-year-old Kristopher Keith Shoemaker, the driver and Coulten Cecil Miller, the 24-year old passenger were both killed after the vehicle flipped and caught fire.
Troopers say neither man was wearing a seat belt.
