Time Running Out To Register To Vote In Amarillo For General Election

Amarillo's chapter of the League of Women voters are doing their part to get eligible citizens registered to vote.

It is our civic duty and it is a duty we should exercise even if we think our vote doesn't account for much.

Your vote is very important, it is your voice.  If you aren't registered you can take a step towards getting that done this Saturday.

The League of Women voters will be at the United on River Road and the one on Washington.  They will also be at the Amigo's on I-40 from noon to 4pm.

You've only got until October 9th to get registered for the general election in November.  Take the opportunity this Saturday and get signed up to raise your voice.
