We can, we talked, we sold.  It was another Erwin Pawn Trade-A-Thon on News Talk 940.

Saturday mornings from 9-Noon we open up the phone lines and the airwaves for you to buy, sell, and trade.  We endeavor to bring buyers and sellers together and you are always invited.

THE BIG QUESTION

We ask all our callers a poll question before they give their listing.  It not only helps us get to know you better it also provides for a theme that ties our calls together.

With the peaceful transfer of power on Friday the Inauguration of President Trump was definitely on everyone's mind. It got us to wondering how many of you took in the festivities.

Did you watch the Inauguration?

Yes 26

No 3

Obviously the event was popular with our callers.  It wasn't a Trump thing, it was an American thing.  Truly beautiful.

RULE #6

We have rules on the program.  They govern your conduct and helps provide a foundation to build the show on.  Along with the five regular rules I bring you at the beginning of each hour, I always bring a special Rule #6.

It changes every week and is sometimes inspired by something that happened to me over the previous week.  This week it was a thought I had while checking my Facebook News Feed.

It seems that the better a picture of someone looks, the more likely it's been edited in some way to more flatter the subject.  You can't really trust the pictures of all the pretty people to be accurate. Conversely the pictures of the more homely people you see can be trusted because they are typically a more accurate representation of the subject.

Rule #6: You can always trust a bad picture.

See you next Saturday for another Erwin Pawn Trade-A-Thon!
