The final Trade-A-Thon of 2016 got us set for a new year of buying, selling, and trading.

Every Saturday morning at 9am we bring you The Erwin Pawn Trade-A-Thon.  It's the show that invites you to call in to list for sale the belongings you no longer want or need but still have value.  We also don't take things terribly seriously during the show and hopefully everyone has a good time.

We ask all our callers a poll question before they give their listing.  It helps us get to know you a little better and also provides a running stream of thought during the show.

With the show being on New Year's Eve we were curious how you would be bringing in the New Year.  Mainly we wanted to know if you would witness it or if it would flip, for you at least, gently in the night.

Will you be up at midnight?

Yes 10

No 19

Most of our callers were not planning on burning the midnight oil.  I intended to stay up for it but ran our of gas around 10:30pm and called it a year.  I hope you enjoyed your celebration.

Along with the regular rules of conduct expected on the show, I always bring you a rule #6.  The other five rules are the same each week.  The sixth changes based on something that happened to me over the previous week or could be a fairly brilliant through I had since the last Trade-A-Thon.

We stayed with the New Year's theme.  Back during my drinking days, I had a rule about partying on New Year's Eve.  I found a spot to be and I stayed there until morning.  No DUI for me, no danger from others, just stay where I was.  It was awfully effective.

Rule #6: Where you play is where you stay.

See you this Saturday for another Erwin Pawn Trade-A-Thon!
