A father in Houston shot a man following an incident where the man was spying on his 10-year-old daughter while inappropriately touching himself.

According to a report from KTRK-TV, the father and his wife heard screams from their daughter's bedroom at around 10 p.m. on Sunday after their daughter saw the man outside her window.

The parents, both armed with handguns, went outside and attempted to detain the man, according to deputies. Officials noted that both the man and the woman are licensed handgun carriers.

The father and mother ordered the man to lie down on the ground, but he refused and walked across the street to a gas station.

The armed couple followed the man to the Valero gas station. Deputies say the wife held the man outside the gas station while the husband went inside and asked the clerk to call 911.
That's when the man wrestled the handgun out of the wife's hands and pointed it at her, deputies said.

The Harris County sheriff's office reports the father then fired his gun at the man. The man was later taken to the hospital in critical but stable condition.

What is amazing is that someone can be that twisted to do something like this. The report says the man was intoxicated, but that is no excuse for him to look into a little girl's window and touch himself.

Another issue is were the actions of the father justifiable? Should he and his wife have followed this man with their guns, or should they have called the police when he left their property?

You have to put yourself in the father's position. If you were this girl's father, would you do the same thing if this man pleasured himself while peeping on your daughter?
