In the list of the cities where wine is marked up the most, four belong to Texas.

So one of the things I have never understood was the rule that you can't buy beer and wine on Sunday's until noon. Why is that even a thing? I mean I never understood that. I remember when I was growing up my grandpa couldn't get beer at all on Sunday's so I guess it is getting better.

I know this is not a fun topic to discuss. It does not kick off any party... but we are all going to die. I just have a plan! As I am getting older in life I know that I don't want to cause a lot of stress on my daughter. So this made sense for me.

I'll drink to that. Oh wait. Drinking can actually be good for you. Who would have thought? I mean you can't take it all crazy, party central every night. That would never be recommended. Every thing in moderation you know.

Halloween is right around the corner and you know what that means: the holidays are right behind it, coming in hot and laden with anxiety. Now is the time for some "pre-holiday decompression" which is really just a fancy way of saying "relax, eat all of the leftover Halloween candy you can get your hands on, and drink a lot of wine."
