Sheikh Hamad Bin Hamdan Al Hahyan Carves His Name In The Abu Dhabi Sand

Somebody has been playing in the middle eastern sand by carving their name right into it.

A few lines have been drawn in the sand.  "HAMAD" to be exact.

It's two miles across and visible from space.  Comforting to the crew of Atlantis as they make the final laps of the shuttle program.

The sheikh has a $14 billion fortune and likes to spend it wisely apparently.
