Seinfeld Fans Mourn The Passing Of Mr. Pitt

Ian Abercrombie has died.  He was best known as Elaine's boss, Mr. Pitt from the NBC sitcom Seinfeld.

He made Elaine's life a misery, ate candy bars with a knife and fork and couldn't see a picture in a 3d photo to save his life.

He only appeared in seven episodes, including the finale but it seemed like many more.

He was a little-known actor until the Seinfeld cameo shot him to stardom, a fact he was proud of.

He died at 77 of complications of kidney failure but lives on in daily Seinfeld reruns on TNT.
