Rise In Gas Prices In Texas Means Drivers Paying More For Fuel
Drivers across Texas we’re up in arms last week thanks to a hike in the gas price.
AAA Texas has released it’s weekly canvas of gas prices across both the nation and the state. The news could spell financial disaster for some. The organization found statewide prices at the pump averaged $2.52 per gallon compared to this time last week. Nationally it was worse for those not living under the protection of the Lone Star, where prices averaged $2.74.
The most expensive gas in Texas this week was in Midland, where a gallon will fetch $2.77. In Sherman and Dennison residents are celebrating having a little beer money this week with gas a state low $2.37 per gallon.
Experts say they expect people to continue to buy gas, at least in the near future.
