Good news if you are like us and are missing live music. The City of Amarillo Parks & Recreation Department has announced the return of the Starlight Theater Summer Concert Series at Sam Houston Park. The live concert series begins Tuesday, June 23 at 7 p.m. The series, all summer long, will remain free to the public.

“We hope the public will join us each week to enjoy what has become one of Amarillo’s great traditions through the years – the Starlight Theater,” said Kristen Wolbach, coordinator of public relations and programs for PARD. “Some of Amarillo’s favorite talents will be participating each week.”

Be sure to bring out your chair, blanket, and favorite beverages. The Starlight Theater series is in its 29th year and is an outdoor concert that features local Amarillo talent. If you have never been before, this is a great opportunity to get back outside for a family fun event. The City of Amarillo says that all outdoor social distancing guidelines will be in place and followed.
