More Red Light Cameras Could Be Coming To Amarillo

Red light cameras have been deranged across the country as blatant revenue generators.  And now Amarillo may get more.

Four intersections in the city already have the cameras installed. A Red Light Advisory Committee met yesterday to discuss adding more.  There was a vote on 13 different intersections.  Seven did not pass a majority vote.

Tickets from the cameras run $75.
