More arrests in DFW Airport workers parking scheme

FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) — A dozen Transportation Security Administration workers and a former American Eagle airline employee are the latest to be charged in a parking abuse operation at Dallas-Fort Worth Airport.

Airport officials say the arrests Tuesday bring to 22 the number of people charged since American Eagle reported in March that 129 employee parking passes were missing from its office at a DFW Airport terminal.

The Fort Worth Star Telegram reports (http://bit.ly/19Y3BSn ) one TSA employee is accused of selling the passes to co-workers and is charged with a former airline worker of felony theft of service. The others are charged with misdemeanor theft.

Authorities say some of the passes to allow parking in DFW employee lots were sold for $100. They normally cost $34 a month, or about $400 a year.
