Mike Ditka: I Could’ve Kept Barack Obama From Being President
Former Chicago Bears head coach Mike Ditka is making waves for an off-the-field proclamation.
While giving a speech in North Dakota this week, the Hall of Famer -- who is conservative -- claimed he should've run against Barack Obama for Senate in Illinois back in 2004:
Biggest mistake I’ve ever made. Not that I would have won, but I probably would have and he wouldn’t be in the White House."
Is he suggesting he could've made it to the White House, instead? Hmm, guess we'll never know, but it is fun to imagine how fans of 'Da Bears' would've reacted to his political appointments.
