
Japanese Tsunami Debris Littering Ocean
Scientists are concerned about a large swath of debris floating in the ocean swept to sea by the Japanese Tsunami.
The debris field is filled with large items like boats and cars and promises to float in the ocean for at least ten years.
This could affect shipping and fishing. Obviously scientists are learning on the fly as they monitor this debris field.
