Welp, it turns out that Texas is not just famous for its BBQ. Apparently the Lonestar state is also known for having some of the deadliest intersections in the country.

The Fang Law Firm dug into the data and discovered that the Lone Star State has not one, not two, but FOUR intersections that are prone to deadly crashes.

Now, you would assume that these intersections would be busy intersections, but according to the data, these intersections aren't smack dab in the middle of bustling cities, it’s the rural areas that take the lead in the deadly stakes. 

Top Deadliest Intersections in Texas:

According to The Fang Law Firm, the ultimate crash zone in Texas is none other than Mansfield's US-287 & Highway 360 intersection. It's the sixth deadliest in all of America.

Odessa is not just known for its oil – it's also home to the second deadliest intersection in Texas, ranking 14th nationwide at SR 302 and FM 866.

Pecos County makes this list that no city ever wants to be on. FM 1776 and US-285 earned its stripes as the third deadliest intersection in Texas, coming in at 29th nationally.

Rounding off the deadly list is McLennan County's FM2311 and SR-31. It's not just 34th in Texas; it's 34th in the whole nation!
