Ready For A Lunar Eclipse In Texas? We May Not See It.
We've heard a lot about eclipses lately in Texas, and admittedly there have been quite a few over the last year. However, some have been more spectacular than others, and others you had to be in the right pace to fully experience it.
Well, we've got a chance to see yet ANOTHER eclipse here in Texas, but it may be a little tougher than others have been.
Two days from now, March 14th, there will be a lunar eclipse that will completely engulf the moon and give us a full blood moon to gaze at. if you want to see it at its peak, you'll have to set an alarm or hammer down some coffee or energy drinks.
The peak of it will happen at approximately 1:58 am CST, but the event will last for hours. The festivities will begin around 10:57 pm CST and not wrap up until 5:00 am CST, so you could potentially see it before you go to sleep and catch the end when you wake up.
Only one little problem. It may be a bit difficult to see it in a lot of parts of Texas. The skies here are expected to be cloudy and overcast across much of the state, making it difficult for us to get to experience the eclipse.
Sure, some areas will be ok to see it, but the question will be when those clouds want to roll in. We could miss the peak of the eclipse due to the clouds, and that would be a shame.
If we aren't able to see it, we'll have to wait approximately a full year to see the next one, so at least the silver lining is we'll get a chance to see it again before too long.
