Ah yes, Valentine's Day. Depending on how you view it, it's either one of your favorite days of the year, or it's a day that brings back traumatic memories.

A day where one spoils their significant other, or relationships come to a close because your soon-to-be ex has decided to completely ruin a day that's supposed to be filled with flowers, chocolate, and love.

Well if you're looking for an interesting, almost cruel way to break up, or maybe you just want to get back at an old ex, the Amarillo Zoo has you covered.

Their ever-popular event "Roach Your Ex" is back, and you can start setting up everything right now.

If you don't know what Roach Your Ex is, let me catch you up. Every year, the Amarillo Zoo lets you hop online and choose your insect (or animal in some cases) to be named, and then fed to one of the animals currently hanging out at the zoo.

We're talking about insects as small as a cockroach (which I know many of you think your ex is), or you can choose a cricket, mealworm, or pinkie mouse package. If you're feeling like that's just not enough, you can select a mouse or rat, and even a whole chicken, to name your ex after and have it be fed to a big animal.

I love this promotion, and even though I'm well past the days of wanting revenge on any of my ex-girlfriends, I know there are plenty of you out there that are seeking that revenge...or just a creative way to break-up with your current significant other.

If you want to sign up for Roach Your Ex, you can do that here.
