May The Fourth Be With You At Discovery Center
Even if you aren't a sci-fi or Star Wars fan, May 4th is a day where everyone seems to get involved. We can all understand what's being said, the excitement, and the fact that for one day, everyone is a Star Wars fan.
People take the day off and go on Star Wars movie marathons. Some hold cos play parties. Others just enjoy walking around saying "May the 4th be with you".
Well for those of you who are looking for something to help fill the day with a little action, Don Harrington Discovery Center has you covered. They're having their big "May The Fourth Be With You" extravaganza, and it's sure to please even non sci-fi fans.
They're going to turn the place into one giant rebel base, giving you the opportunity to live out your Star Wars and sci-fi fantasies. Complete with vendors, different demos and activities, everyone from age 2 to 200 will have a great time.
You'll have the chance to dress up as your favorite hero, villain, or just come as you are and allow yourself to be transfixed by the universe.
To top it all off, they're doing an afterhours party that is for those big kids 21 and over where you can "Join The Darkside". It will still be a rebel base, and the activities and demos will still be there, but in a more adult manner.
Oh yeah, there will be a little cantina there for you to enjoy some drinks.
