When it comes to summertime in Amarillo, we love to get the kids outside. We also love that outdoor activity to be something that they enjoy, and bonus points if it can be educational. Even though it's summer vacation, these events prove that learning doesn't have to take a holiday

Storybridge gets out during the summer and brings a very fun and, yes, educational event to Amarillo. I brought my granddaughter to a few last summer, and she loved them. It's the return of Storybridge Summer Storytime.

The Magic of Storybridge: Books, Snacks, and Community

Every Wednesday from May 27 through July 29, Storybridge will pop up at a different local landmark. There will be a storytime, of course, your child will enjoy listening to a story. They will also get a snack.

You can't have a story without a snack, of course. As an added bonus, every child leaves with a book to add to their home library and enjoy again and again. The best part is that this is all free. A fun morning of reading and laughter.

All that will matter is that at the end of the day, they had fun and brought home their new favorite book, that is, until the next Storybridge Summer Storytime.
