Amarillo is becoming an incredible place for toddlers to play. The city keeps growing with new opportunities for our littlest residents, and I love to see it. The days of struggling to find something fun for the little ones to do are officially long gone.

One of the newest places to open is StarBase Kid Space. They are located inside Amp'd in Town Square. They opened up earlier this month, and they are already adding fun and new things for the kids.

The Starlight Sessions: A Softer Way to Play

They have recognized that sometimes the kids, especially the younger ones, need a little bit more calming space to play. Something like that really makes playtime even more enjoyable. Instead of a high-energy play, they can take it a little easier.

What to Expect Inside the Glowing Galaxy

They are bringing us Starlight Sessions.

One of the coolest parts of our space is the GIANT glowing planets!!!  We want to highlight our favorite part and invite you to join us!
Monday at 4 PM, we will be starting our STARLIGHT SESSIONS once a week for lower sensory input and a magical, glowing atmosphere!
From 4 pm - 7 pm, we offer a softer, slower version of StarBase.
Dimmed lighting, glowing galaxies, and a cozy atmosphere for imaginative play.
They are offering this playtime every Monday and are looking to add more times in the future. So if your child loves space, loves to play, loves the glowing lights in a lower sensory play area, then StarBase Kid Space is just the place to take them.

Why Low-Sensory Play is a Win for Amarillo Toddlers

They’re inviting local families to come out and experience the galaxy in a whole new way. The StarBase Kid Space way.
