Amarillo is about to get a new place to tempt our tastebuds. The thing is that it is not really new. Even so it's going to make a lot of people happy since it will be a new location for two favorite Amarillo restaurants.

Earlier this summer The Lost Cajun at I40 and Georgia in Wolflin Square moved locations. They moved in with the Pancake Station on Virginia Circle. So when one restaurant moves it leaves that former location open.

Recently there has been some work done on that open location at I40 and Georgia. The former location of The Lost Cajun was getting new life. A restaurant that closed back in July, Saigon, was looking for a new location. It looks like they found it.

Right after they closed they said they were teaming up with Pho 84. That partnership is going to continue in this new location. The signs have gone up and Saigon 84 is about to be born.

I have seen many people ask about both restaurants on social media. I have also seen many people drive by the new location trying to see if they are open yet. They are not. They just got the signs up late last week.

Pho 84 went on social media recently letting us know about their closing and moving into the new location:

It doesn't look like it is going to be much longer. The beginning of Saigon and Pho 84 in one location in Wolflin Square. As I have driven by it looks like they are not open yet even though their Google listing suggests otherwise. It was not open on Sunday when I drove by.

Fingers crossed that it happens soon. To be continued.....
