The Slice Is Right: Major Pizza & Taphouse Concept Eyeing Amarillo Expansion
When it comes to food, Amarillo has a lot of great places. We can't complain about the lack of options. That is one of the greatest things about our city. We still get excited about the talk of new places coming to our area.
Those are the stories that Amarillo loves to read about. Our restaurants, what we have, what we hope to have, and unfortunately, when they close. We love our food, and we love to stay in the know.
In my early years, I grew up in Chicago, so I grew up eating Chicago-style pizza. I know that other cities have their own favorite ways to make pizza. One of those is the New York pizza. The debate over who does pizza better, Chicago or New York, is legendary.

I don't know that I have ever had a truly authentic New York-style pizza, but that can all be changing if a text I received earlier is true. Oh, and I am pretty sure it is, so this is pretty cool.

The Potential Arrival of Parry's Pizzeria & Taphouse
I hadn't heard of them previously, but it appears Parry’s Pizzeria & Taphouse is setting its sights on Amarillo. They have several locations around Texas. You can find them in the Houston, San Antonio, and Dallas areas. The closest one to us is in Lubbock.

They are also in Colorado, Arizona, and Las Vegas. An email was sent to the company for confirmation, and as of right now, no response has been received.
What to Expect from the Parry’s Menu
Looking at their MENU, they have a lot to offer, so this is good for Amarillo. Pizza, wings, calzones, salads, sandwiches, burgers, pastas, and a selection of craft beers. We will keep an eye out for official word and location.
Amarillo is ready for more, and it looks like Parry’s Pizzeria & Taphouse is ready to deliver.
