Amarillo’s Buc-ee’s Location – Updated Construction Photos

Have you been by the new Buc-ee's location in Amarillo? If it's been a while you may be amazed how fast it is moving along. I saw a picture or two floating around social media recently so I had to go ahead and drive by.

I am not usually out near the airport unless I am picking up or dropping someone off. Heck, there is a time or two I may actually be going out of town and then I am out near the airport. I feel that a lot of people here in Amarillo who may not be out that way a lot will be changing that. Once Buc-ee's gets open there will be a lot of traffic in that area.

When word first got out about Buc-ee's we were excited. As we get closer to this being a reality the excitement has not slowed down at all. In fact there are Facebook groups out there dedicated to the fact that Amarillo is getting a Buc-ee's.

Our Buc-ee's on Airport Boulevard is supposed to open in February of next year. There are a lot of people who believe that is going to happen sooner than that. There will not be any broken hearts over that.

If you have made the drive out near Airport Boulevard recently you may notice the structure is there. It is moving along at a very fast pace. The store itself has been hiring for management.

We are still waiting for word on the other positions.  We are ready for when they start hiring. There is a lot of excitement about that. Just seeing how fast the building went up we really are getting excited. Looking forward to the fact that Buc-ee's really could open up this year.

If you haven't been by our Buc-ee's you may want to make the trip out to check it out. I mean we only have a short time where the traffic out in that area isn't going to be a nightmare. Maybe take advantage of that now.
