In Texas, Ranch dressing is a way of life. We put it on everything. Texans love Ranch dressing so much, that we can almost name the place it came from just by how it tastes. This begs the question, what restaurant has the best Ranch dressing in Amarillo?

Whataburger Ranch Dressing

Hear me out. It may not be high up on your list, but the jalapeno ranch you can buy in a bottle at the grocery store is just about as good as it gets for me. I'll drown just about anything in it. It isn't so spicy that you sacrifice flavor for heat. It's my favorite Ranch dressing.

In-store, it's a bit debatable. It isn't the absolute best, and it's not the worst.

Red Robin Ranch Dressing

I've seen this one brought up a lot. The reason why their Ranch does so well is that it pairs wonderfully with their fries. Their fries are good, but with some Ranch they're great.

Buffalo Wild Wings Ranch Dressing

You have to have the places that specialize in wings on the list. Next to how they prepare their wings, the ranch has to be spot on. The ranch at Buffalo Wild Wings is decent and it goes well with their wings. I prefer their Ranch over other wing restaurants.

Wing Stop Ranch Dressing

The Ranch at Wing Stop does its job. It adds some flavor to the wings, and tones down the burn just a notch. It's not groundbreaking. It's functional. There's nothing wrong with that.

Texas Roadhouse Ranch Dressing

This is some pretty good Ranch dressing if I do say so myself. I don't usually order a salad, but I will so I can get some of that dressing. The flavor, for me, is pretty spot on and I find myself getting a little sad when I run out.

Pizza Planet Ranch Dressing

You can't enjoy the most addictive salad in the Texas panhandle without some Ranch to drown it in. Take your ranch and dump it on top of the salad. Close the box and shake it like it owes you money. Grab a fork, open the box back up, and enjoy a salad that I'm surprised the federal government hasn't tried to ban yet.
