Cameras Catch Burglary Suspect In The Act In Amarillo, Texas

In this day and age, it seems strange to me that anyone would try and pull something like this off. The number of doorbell cameras and affordable security cameras on the market is insane, and a lot of people have them installed.

This burglary suspect apparently forgot this, and there are some decent photos that were captured while they were entering the garage of the home. There's a decent shot of their face and their tattoos.

If you have any information, Amarillo Crime Stoppers urges you to reach out to authorities. You can contact Amarillo Crime Stoppers at 806-374-4400. You can also make an anonymous tip by using the P3 Tips app, or by going online to amapolice.org.

As always, if your tip leads to an arrest you could get a reward of up to $1,000.

Installing doorbell cameras and security cameras at your house is incredibly easy these days. I've installed all of mine. If you haven't done this for your home, you might want to think about it.

If you're not mixed up in organized crime shenanigans, then you're probably safe. But as the old adage goes, the more you know the better prepared you are.
