Grain Lower, Cattle Mixed, Pork Higher On Chicago Board Of Trade
CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were lower Wednesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for May delivery was 7 cents lower at 6.3650 a bushel; May corn was 1.25 cents lower at 4.84 a bushel; May oats were unchanged at 4.9350 a bushel; while May soybeans was 6 cents lower at 14.17 a bushel.
Beef mixed and pork was higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
April live cattle was .10 cent higher at $1.4572 a pound; May feeder cattle was .15 cents lower at 1.7500 a pound; April lean hogs gained .33 cent to $1.1200 a pound.
