Gov. Perry has stepped up a push for rain calling on the highest power possible to end the drought.

Wildfires have burned over 1.5 million acres(and counting) and it's due in large part to drought that is effecting most of Texas.

Looking at the weather map they are getting all our spring weather out east.  Things are just getting drying and more combustible.

Gov. Perry along with soliciting Federal help in fighting the wildfires he also called on the power of corporate prayer in ending the drought. "Throughout our history, both as a state and individuals, Texans have been strengthened, assured and lifted up through prayer", the Governor said in a statement.

Not only are the fires dangerous but I've really been missing natures fireworks this season.  One of my favorite activities is watching the weather blow in and there just hasn't been much to watch.

Maybe in May?
