Five Finger Discount? Amarillo Crime Stoppers Need Your Help.
Good news for Amarillo is the violent crimes went down from 2020 to 2021.
Unfortunately, it seems robberies are up in 2022.
Ok maybe not UP, but it definitely feels like they're happening with a little more frequency than usual this year.
Amarillo Crime Stopper is on the hut for not one, but TWO different people responsible for pulling the five finger discount.
Let's start here.
This gentleman right here has been caught on camera all over the city, and not in a good way. He's been seen committing multiple thefts throughout the city at several different locations. No word on what it is he's lifting from the stores, but my guess is that it's gotta be small enough to fit in pockets or a hoodie right?
They don't seem to be violent thefts or anything like that, just someone who doesn't seem to like the sticker price of some items. If you're out and about shopping and happen to see him, hit up Amarillo Crime Stoppers. You could net yourself up to $1,000 if you help lead police to an arrest.
This person right here is a bit of a different story. It's not actual items he's after, it certainly looks like it's cash money he's chasing. He DOES appear violent as you can see in the picture he's holding someone up at gunpoint.
They robbed a convenience store back on February 28th and this is listed as the crime of the week by Amarillo Crime Stoppers. Again, info leading to an arrest can put up to $1,000 in your pocket.
If you have any info on these two, you can reach out at 806-374-4400. You can also leave an anonymous tip if you so choose at amapolice.org.
