With the way the federal government treats the High Plains, it makes a person wonder if they aren't trying to seclude us from the rest of the country.

The federal judiciary has announced they are closing six southern courthouse due to inadequate funding from Congress.

Our federal courthouse is/was presided over by a circuit judge.

The closures are expected to save $1 million per year in rent.  This isn't such a dramatic saving when you consider the potential budget cuts could run into the $500 million range.
