Counterfeit Money Being Passed In Hereford

The are some phoney $50 bills being passed in Hereford.

The bills are $5 bills that have been chemically bleached of their ink and then reprinted as $50 bills.  Police say these bills can be easily overlooked because it looks and feels like the real things.

Police recommend businesses not only use counterfeit pens but to also invest in a UV light that will help spot the reprinted bills.
