Click it or Ticket Campaign In Texas Kicks Off

TxDot has kicked off their 12th annual 'Click it or Ticket' campaign.

Not only is this the 12th year for the push to inform motorists of compliance with the law but it is also the 45th anniversary of the year automakers were required to install seat belts in all vehicles.

Unbuckled occupants of vehicles face fines of up to $200 plus court costs.  Last year more than 21,000 tickets were given out to people who failed to click it.
