Desperate Man Wears Copper Cage on His Head in Order to Quit Smoking
Some people will go to extraordinary lengths to quit smoking.
A man in Turkey named Ibrahim Yucel wants to kick the habit so badly that he built a cage made of copper wire to put on his head to prevent him from lighting up.
As if that’s not intense enough, Yucel, who’s been smoking two packs a day for two decades, gives away the keys to the cage so he won’t open it up himself and smoke a cigarette when he gets a craving. Fortunately, he leaves enough room to let him breathe and eat bits of food.
Yucel seems to mean business – he even swears on the Koran his pledge to cut out smoking.
