It's an annual fundraising tradition for Amarillo's Boy Scout Troop 80.

If you are in the market for a real Christmas tree, Boy Scout Troop 80 has them.  The troop sells the trees every year and has been a tradition since 1959.

The profits go to maintain scout facilities, for gear and some of the money is used as scholarships.  The trees com from a plantation in Washington.  The scouts will sell the trees up to the week before Christmas or when they run out, whichever is first.

The most popular tree is the Noble Fir.  The Troop 80 Christmas tree lot is at the corner of Bellaire and Plains.
