Best Places to Enjoy Fall in Amarillo
Yes, it is still technically Summer, but when school starts, we all tend to get in a Fall mood. We start thinking about football and hoodies, and pumpkin spice everything. So to get you into a Fall frame of mind, here's a few places in Amarillo where you can enjoy fall.
Wolflin Area
Wolflin is one of the older neighborhoods in Amarillo, but you'll find some of the most beautiful scenery. In fact, if you love to walk or run. Head over to the Wolflin area and enjoy some exercise checking out all the amazing trees in the area as the leaves change colors.
The Gee Family Farm
There's nothing like surrounding yourself with pumpkins and in the fall Gee's Family Farm has plenty. Bring the family out to pick pumpkins, enjoy some popcorn and have a ton of family fun.
Any Football Stadium in the Texas Panhandle on a Friday Night
Let's face it, you can celebrate Fall without football. Fall means football and Friday night lights. So grab the family and go check out a high school football game. They are fun and entertaining and it's a great way to support our HS sports.
Palo Duro Canyon
Palo Duro Canyon is great in the Fall. The temperatures are perfect during the day so it makes your hikes bearable than in the Summer, plus in the evening, the Fall stars are amazing.
