Auto Burglar Caught In Act, Fails Escape Attempt

Amarillo police were called to the 6000 block of I-40 West on an auto burglary.

The victim provided a description of a black male wearing a baggy shirt and plaid shorts.

When officers arrived they were able to locate the suspect in thr 6200 block of Woodward, north of where the auto burglary took place.

The suspect was apprehended north of the burglary. Jeremy Daniel Mason, 20 was arrested and taken to Potter County on charges of burglary of a vehicle.
