Amarillo Trailer Park Residents Without Water For Nine Days

Christmas day may have brought you presents but it marked the beginning of a long stretch without water for some Amarillo residents.

Tenants of the Old West Mobile Home Park have little to no running water.  The problem started on Christmas Day with the winter storm that blew in.

The water stopped and hasn't run since.  For residents of the trailer park this has meant losing the basics like flushing toilets, doing dishes and bathing.  Some residents have resorted to staying with friends or hotels.

The landlord maintains he has done everything possible to restore water service to the park.  Several companies have been called to assess the situation today.  Hopefully everybody can stay at home tonight!
