Amarillo Pedestrian Robbed Of iPad Sunday Evening
Sunday evening a pedestrian was robbed at gun point.
Around 7:30 Sunday evening police were dispatched on a report of a robbery. Officers responded to the call in the 4000 block of South Jackson.
A 19-year-old victim told police he was walking in the area when a dark colored SUV pulled over next to him. The driver of the SUV got out of the vehicle and asked the victim for a cigarette. The suspect then pulled a pistol, pointed it at the victim and demanded his iPad. The victim handed over the tablet and the suspect left the area.
Police are looking for a black male in his early 20's with tattoos on his left forearm. The SUV is a late '90's or early 2000's model and is black, possible a Jeep Cherokee. If you have any information on this crime you are asked to call Amarillo Crime Stoppers at 374-4400.
