Amarillo Helium Auction To Be Held Tomorrow

There is around 10 billion cubic feet of helium here in Amarillo.

The Helium Stewardship Act of 2013 increased the number of people who can purchase the gas.  Tomorrow, on July 30th the Bureau of Land Management will be holding it's first auction of helium to comply with the act.

Bidders must first go through a vetting to determine whether they actually need the helium not.
