940’s Oklahoma State Cowboys Victorious Over Texas Tech On Senior Day

A rematch of a blowout in Lubbock last year was another blowout with the OSU Cowboys routing Texas Tech 59-21 on Saturday in Boone Pickens Stadium.

It wasn't quite as bad for the Red Raiders this time.  Last year it was 66-6.

The game had huge implications for the bowl picture.  Entering the game OSU was ranked 24th.  Texas Tech was ranked 23rd.

The win improves OSU to 7-3 overall and 5-2 in conference play.

It's a big tradition this weekend for the Cowboys.  They are traveling to face Oklahoma in the annual intrastate battle for bragging rights.  You can hear the game on The New 940 KIXZ this Saturday beginning at 2:30pm with a 12:30 pregame.
