
$4.4 Million Storm Drainage Sewer Construction Starts November 6th
The City of Amarillo is set to start construction on a $4.4 million storm drainage project.
The project will see Farmers Avenue between Western and Georgia to be closed for a year, until October 2013. Traffic will be rerouted to Southwest 58th.
The project will see the drainage system extended to I27 west of Bell.
Work will usually occur 7a-7p. If you are driving in the area use caution and expect delays.
