Market Takes A Plunge On China Stock Losses, Fed Worries

CHICAGO (AP) — Grains futures rose or were flat Tuesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for September delivery was flat at $6.63 a bushel; September corn rose 8.25 cents to $5.415 a bushel; September oats were flat at $3.57 a bushel; while August soybeans jumped 12.5 cents to $14.68 a bushel.

Beef prices rose, while pork prices fell on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

August live cattle fell 0.15 cent to $1.2192 a pound; August feeder cattle fell 1.20 cent to $1.5040 a pound; August lean hogs slipped 0.55 cent to 95 cents a pound.
