BURNET, Texas (AP) — Investigators say 15 people have been arrested on drug-related counts over an alleged Central Texas methamphetamine ring with ties to Mexico.

Officers seized guns, about 8,000 rounds of ammunition and more than $10,000. Dozens of confiscated weapons were displayed Wednesday afternoon outside the Burnet (BER'-net) County Sheriff's Office. The items hours earlier were removed from the homes of two suspects.

The Texas Department of Public Safety says the haul ranged from pistols to assault rifles to shotguns, including numerous stolen weapons.

The investigation began in May. Authorities say drugs smuggled from Mexico were sold in Williamson, Burnet, Llano (LAH'-noh), Travis, Bell, Blanco, Lampasas (lam-PA'-sis) and Bastrop counties.

At least nine more suspects are sought.
