The non-profit group 'Wreaths Across America' is returning to the Texas panhandle this Saturday. And for those of you that don't know what 'Wreaths Across America' is or what they do allow me to explain.

Who and what is 'Wreaths Across America' exactly?

'Wreaths Across America' is a non-profit group that was formed in 2007 15 years later after the call from individuals around the country who heard about the 5,000 wreaths being donated to the Arlington National Cemetery.

'Wreaths Across America' Purpose is to do 3 things:

  1. Remember the fallen by placing a wreath on the veteran's grave on National Wreaths Across America Day.
  2. Honor those who have served by taking part in the popular “Thanks-A-Million” campaign, which distributes free thank-you cards to people all over the country to share with veterans as a simple thank-you for their service.
  3. Teach the next generation about the value of their freedoms and the importance of honoring those who sacrificed so much to protect those freedoms.
