The USTPA World Finals Returns to Amarillo
The United States Team Penning Associate (USTPA) returns to Amarillo for their 2nd straight year for the USTPA world finals starting October 24th and ending October 30th. This is going to be a great event especially with it being free to the public 8am to 5pm everyday. So you only have to pay to watch the bull bash Friday night and the Casey Donahew concert Saturday night which will still be great events to go pay to see.
Now this is the part I'm looking forward to the most the bull bash takes place Friday October 29th at the Amarillo National Center and will have 30 of the best bull riders in the world. And yes that does include riders from both PBR and NFR qualifiers. And even though we don't have a list yet the event is still going to be worth seeing as it will be a electric 4 four hours of action. The gates open at 5:30pm with the event to start at 6:30pm and end around 10:30pm and tickets are $19 dollars.
Casey Donahew Concert
The Final night of the USTPA finals Texas country legend Casey Donahew along with Seth Ward and the silence will be performing Saturday night after the finals have conclude. The concert is set to start at 8:30pm with Casey set to take take the stage at around 9:30pm. For for anyone who doesn't know who Casey Donahew is Casey Donahew a Texas Country artist who has 21 #1 singles some of my favorites by him or He Ain't no cowboy, Double-wide dream and Drove me to the whiskey just to name a few. Tickets range anywhere between $29 dollars to $59 Dollars.
This is going rodeo is going to be packed with action from start to finish and can't wait to go watch. And with it being free to the public and me being the big rodeo fan that I am there is a good chance that I'll be spending my lunch break there. And hopefully this becomes a tradition in Amarillo.
