I know that one of the summer camp locations that my daughter always looked forward to attending each summer was at Amarillo College. We would get that camp book in the mail and we would look forward to picking out the fun activities.
I read people say time and time again how they are glad social media was not around when they were growing up. How things were so much easier before everything was documented. How your life was just not as simple anymore. You say the wrong thing and there are now records of it. You do something stupid and nobody will forget.
The one thing I learned this weekend is about this kid named Whitey. I mean I don't really know who he is at all I know. I do know that as I scrolled through Tik Tok on Saturday night I saw about ten to fifteen videos. Right away.
I haven't been on Tik Tok very long. My daughter was the one to convince me to try it out. I like it for some of the tricks it teaches me. I have told my daughter, though, to be wary of stuff you see on it. Don't believe everything you see. Do your research.
