Putting your child behind the wheel of a car can be a frightening thing, especially for the first time. We just want to wrap them in bubble wrap to keep them safe. However, at some point in time when they turn 16 we have to let them spread their wings and drive. Luckily for us parents that live in Texas, we live in a great state for teen drivers.
I get the whole saying, "kids will be kids," however I don't know if it is because I'm older I just shake my head at a new trend to get high. Kids are using lip balm on their eye lids to get high, it is called "Beezin".
It seems that over the past few weeks the focus has been on alcohol abuse with teens, especially girls. Is underage drinking a problem here in Amarillo?
