A 9-year-old North Carolina boy was suspended from school after saying a teacher was “cute” — a remark the school principal called sexual harassment.

Back in the day, high school classes would only show “how a bill becomes a law” videos, but Rhett Felix, a teacher at Eureka High school outside of Peoria, Illinois, tried to spice things up a bit. He used clips from Comedy Central’s ‘The Daily Show with Jon Stewart‘ to educate his students about current events, but the local school board placed him on paid suspension once word got out.

Three suspended Ohio State football players, expecting to be reinstated in time for this week’s game at Nebraska, will instead miss the key Big Ten contest after the university extended their suspensions on Monday for additional NCAA infractions.

Pennsylvania resident Natalie Munroe started teaching English in 2006. In August of 2009, she began blogging under the name Natalie M. The controversy started when she began to write about her workplace -- calling students "rude, lazy whiners" as well as lashing out at school administrators.
