I will be the first to say that the City of Amarillo doesn't always get the thanks that they deserve. So I am going to be the first to shout, thank you. I had a problem I was facing at my house and I handled it the right way.

You know the old saying you don't know what you've got until it's gone. Well, a local business is feeling the loss of something very needed.

The trash in Amarillo has been a hot topic for quite some time. First, we lost a lot of our dumpsters in different areas. Those magically turned into trash cans we got to roll into the front of our homes on trash day.

So here we are in the middle of this mess that we call the dumpster schedule change. I mean since we went from two days of having our dumpsters emptied per week to just once.

Some of you need a refresher in how a good citizen disposes of trash.

A dirt bike rider was killed early Saturday morning after fleeing from a Potter County Sheriff's Deputy.

A Dalhart resident found a newborn baby boy in a dumpster between the 1800 block of Oak Ave. and the 1700 block of Chestnut on Saturday evening around 7:00pm.

A busy and eventful Erwin Pawn Tradio Show this last weekend.  We're getting set for Amarillo's Largest Garage Sale next weekend and thinking about trash.
