Did it act like a Transformer and turn into something different than a store?

It has been a whirlwind of a story. Amanda's Cafe has been in and out of the restaurant review pages. When they first opened up I would see Amanda posting all of their great food specials.

The high school is set to close tomorrow in order to alleviate issues caused by a shortage of staff.

This seems so like a 2021 problem but apparently the shortage of workers here in Amarillo is going to follow us into 2022. So much that it is going to force us to have one less place to eat at on Sundays.

I know they say that every good thing must come to an end. I hate when that saying refers to some restaurants here in the Amarillo area.

Hopefully this weekend you're too busy spending some much needed time off with family and friends to notice the changes.

Amarillo has said hello and goodbye to a lot of places to eat recently. I am excited when we get new places opening up their doors to try. It's tough to keep a restaurant going. Especially with the challenges that have faced us with finding employees.

Just when we really were hoping to be putting the term Covid behind us this happens. OK I know I am living in a dream world and that word would not be leaving our vocabulary any time soon. I know this word is sticking around. We can hope anyway but here we are with another closing due to Covid.
