My pleasure will forever remind me of one of my favorite fast food places in the world, Chick Fil A. The 2 are synonymous. I could be having the worst day and if I hit up a Chick fil A, you can bet the folks that work there are going to boost my mood and lift my spirits instantly!

So currently there are 3 Chick fil A's in Odessa and 4 in Midland, (yes you can correct me if I'm wrong because I'm relying on memory) I frequent the Odessa locations more than Midland but have to get my Chick fil A fix nonetheless weekly.

But how many are there in Texas? I have to know that the wealth has been spread evenly throughout the Lonestar State. How many other cities in Texas get to hear 'my pleasure' on a regular basis and hit up the (in my opinion) quickest and most convenient fast food drive-thru that ever existed?

HOW MANY CHICK FIL A'S EXIST IN TEXAS?

You may be happy to know that Texas is actually the state with the most Chick fil A locations in the entire US, with 469 stores. That is about 16% of all of the Chick fil A's in the US.

ARE THERE ANY STATES IN THE US THAT DO NOT HAVE A CHICK FIL A?

To be honest for the longest time I thought Chick fil A's were only a Texas thing until we stopped at one in Florida on vacation a couple of summers back. So the answer to the question is that Alaska, Hawaii and Vermont do not have a Chick fil A, yikes, sorry for those folks, they have no clue exactly what they are missing out on!

This is Where AI Thinks You Should Retire in Texas

If you’re thinking about where to retire in the Lone Star State, stop. We have computers to do our thinking now.

Okay, I’m kidding, but when I asked artificially intelligent bot brain ChatGPT for the best places to retire in Texas, these are the answers it spit out, along with this disclaimer: “Please note that this list is not exhaustive and there may be other great places to retire in Texas that are not included here. It is always best to research and visit the place before making a decision.

Good advice, but let’s look at the top places it recommended and decide for ourselves, shall we? Some look like winners, but some have us wondering if the computer is short-circuiting.
